identiPol QA launched
The all new identiPol QA launched at the "K" show in Dusseldorf, Germany represents a major new approach to assessing the quality of thermoplastic materials. Based upon hybridised thermal analysis methodology, the assessment of materials is very rapid and exceptionally easy to use.
The evaluation and comparison of thermal traces are eliminated as the system effectively 'learns' the pattern of a known 'good' sample and compares the unknown against this material.
A statistical probability figure is given that represents the closeness of the unknown to the learnt pattern.
All the key material behaviour is assessed using this methodology; glass transition/relaxations/softening points, crystallisation (if present) and melt. These are effectively reduced to a single probability score.
NEW Peltier controlled Conditioning Chamber
Also new from Triton Technology Ltd. is a small lab scale Peltier controlled Conditioning Chamber.
This has a capacity of 2000cc and allows for materials to be conditioned to a specific humidity when combined with the Humidity Generator and Controller.
This is useful where perhaps only small quantities of materials are available for study or research - for example drug/pharmaceutical development.
The unit also is designed to fit Stable Micro Systems Texture Analyser equipment and therefore possibilities now exist for testing materials such as foodstuffs under defined relative humidity conditions.
